Psalm 9: 16-20
The Lord is known by the judgment He executes; The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. (meditation) The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten; the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever. Arise O Lord Do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged in Your sight. Put them in fear, O Lord, that the nations may know themselves to be but men.
This continues the psalm of David that is about praise and judgment of the wicked. The wicked are caught in the evil of their own making. It states that the wicked will be sent to Hell. David says here that the needy and the poor of the world will not be forgotten. The Lord takes care of his own.
I sometimes look at people that nothing bad ever happens to and wonder why? Has God forgotten me? I need to remember that God is the judge. That His will be done in all things. Being poor in any way does not mean that He has given up on us.
