Psalm 6:6-10

I am weary with my groaning; All night I make my bed swim. I drench my couch with my tears. My eye wastes away because of grief; It grows old because of all my enemies. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; For the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord has heard my supplication; The Lord will receive my prayer. Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled; Let them turn back and be ashamed suddenly.

The passage is a continuation of David's lament to God. It could be physical, psychological, or spiritual problems plaguing David. He groans. He cries. He is grieving. David believes that God has heard his prayers and that He will answer those prayers. He hopes that his enemies will become troubled because of the wrongs they have done to him.

Prayer is my way of communing with God. I need to have more faith that He is hearing and answering those prayers. I have the same types of problems that David had and I need to turn them all over to God. I need to just let it go.
