Psalm 20: 7-9

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright. Save, Lord! May the King answer us when we call.

This passage refers to horses and chariots which Israel's more advanced enemies used, but the Chosen people relied on God for their strength and victory. They totally depended on the Lord. There is another plea for God to answer when we call out to Him.

This reminds me that I need to trust in God and not of things of the world. I need to believe unwaveringly that He will answer my call.
