Psalm 20: 4-6

May He grant you according to your heart's desire, and fulfill all your purpose. We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.

This passage is a continuation of assurance of God's saving work. "Now I know"... is a statement that says he knows the prayer is being heard by God. It is a wish that God grant David and his people what they desire the most to complete the purposes of their life. The verses restate that David hopes the petitions will be heard.

I needed this today. I am in the midst of a panic episode triggered by Janessa. Lord, please help me deal with the next mess in my life. Give me peace. Give me strength.
