Psalm 18: 31-36

For who is God, except the Lord? and who is a rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer and sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me, so my feet did not slip.

This passage states that God is the Lord. God is a rock that we can depend on. God gives His people strength to withstand what comes their way. The way is made perfect. Again the comparison to words in the New Testament are seen. He makes our way so our feet do not slip.

This passage speaks to me in a special way tonight. I am having a panic episode and feeling lost and alone. Knowing that God is giving me the strength I need to go through this is comforting and gives me hope. God's way is perfect and He enlarged the path and made it so I could not slip. Thank you Jesus for all You do for me everyday.
