His name means “The LORD is my God.” The message of his life matched his name. It still does today. Not only do we see evidence of this man threaded throughout portions of the Old Testament, but we also find mention of him sprinkled in the New Testament as well. His name? Elijah. So who was Elijah?   What Do the Attributes of God Mean? The attributes of God are specific aspects you learn from the Bible about the character of God, who he is, and how he acts. When you study God’s attributes, you are attempting to wrap your mind around all God is, yet God is beyond human understanding. Whew! These are concepts you won’t fully understand in this lifetime. That’s okay. Part of growing in faith is understanding that God, his works, and his ways are beyond you, yet trusting that God has a plan for your life. Which List of the Attributes of God is the Right One? While I was researching this study, I learned there is no one set listing of the attributes of God.  You might see lists with 30 attributes and some with only 10. Some explain in plain terms and others use theological terminology. There are lists of the top 3 or top 5 attributes of God. The Jewish teaching lists 13 attributes of God. Psalm 2:1-8

Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed saying 'Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.........I will declare the decree the Lord has said to me, you are My Son, Today I have begotten you. Ask of Me and I will give you the nations for your inheritance and the ends of the earth for Your possession. This reading feels like an enemy is ready to attack and has these plans.It is like a warning from God about the future. It is an affirmation between Jesus, the Son and Godm he father. What do I think these verses are saying to I me? I think the leaders of the word today think they have it all figurd our.The things of the world are becoming more prevalent and accepted. This is not acceptable in any way. The false prophets have been put here by Satan and his followers. It is to make the Christian weak.
